Re: Doubts about how to procced on testing OCA project modules for Odoo

The differences here between 6.1 to 7.0 migration and 7.0 to 8.0 migration
are:

   - Possible move from one CVS (Launchpad) to another (GitHub).
   - In spanish localization, most modules are working both on v7 and v8,
making little changes to keep compatibility on both (for example *try:
import ... except: import ...*). This way, we can improve both branches
with only one MP, and we avoid that both branches diverge (like in the past
with 6.0, 6.1 and 7.0 - yesterday I have to backport one fix). On the
contrary, we have to test each MP on both versions (there are trivial
changes that don't need this check somehow).

That's why Ana is asking for this openly and to discuss at global community
the best approach to follow.

Regards
