Hi,
I managed to install the connector...
I thought as per various calls that the configurable products are supported.
Is it correct?
Getting the following error: *Invalid data error: The product type

Please let me know!

Hi,
The configurable products are not yet supported, but some work is in
progress in that regard.
The support of configurable can be expressed in, at least, 3 different ways:
1. Import of sales orders containing configurable products from Magento
2. Import of configurable products from Magento
3. Configuration and export of configurable products from OpenERP
The point 1. is on his way, there is already a branch here that you can
try and test:
lp:~akretion-team/openerp-connector/7.0-magentoerpconnect-sale-order-with-configurable
It is nearly ready to be proposed for the merge but we still need to add
a test.
The point 2. won't probably be supported in the near future, or not in
the way you could think: they won't be imported as 1 product.template
with n product.product, but the configurable product will just be
skipped from the import and all the variants will be imported as
separate products (this is because the Magento API does not give the id
of the configurable in the variants). This is done on the branch
mentionned in point 1.
Point 3. is planned but not yet developed.
See you,
