I would add also this wish to the list:
 * Allow the user to sort by multiple columns by CTRL-clicking several 
column headers (if the user clicks on "date" and "name" sort by "date, 
name", if he clicks an already sorted "date" and then "amount" then sort 
by "date desc, amount", etc.)

And with a lower priority:
 * Remember the last records order on each view for the current user on 
the GTK client (Koo client already does this).
 * Remember the last columns order and size on each view for the 
current user on the GTK client (Koo does this).
