These are the slides I used during the Opendays on the connector Odoo –
frePPLe:

As editor of frePPle, we commit ourselves to:

1.      We will support and maintain this connector, and keep it published
as open source.

2.      I am now member of OCA / Odoo community association, and plan to be
active in the MRP refactoring that’ll soon be coordinated by OCA. We’ll be
happy to review and comment on the specs, based on our experience in the
planning and scheduling domain.

3.      During the opendays we heard the feedback to have the planning run
natively on the odoo data, rather than “yet-another-connector” J.  It is a
valid remark, and I am already thinking on ways how we can achieve this.

While I have not investigated for a long time, the last time I did there
was a promising integration starting with frepple.  I see that this was
also presented at opendays although have not had a chance to review.

before confirming manufacturing orders. More over, finite capacity
management seems to be lacking in Odoo and it looks impossible to really

Do you know about future projects that would improve this part of Odoo MRP?
