Re: Driving the French translations

Hi Lionel, I don't really understand your question, because all
OpenERP projects (including those you mentioned) are set to be
translated by the "OpenERP Translators group":
https://translations.launchpad.net/+groups/openobject-translators This
means they all share the same "structured permissions", assigned
translation teams, and so on. The "OpenERP French translators" is in
charge of all Would you please elaborate on what is missing here? Cheers,
Thanks for making that clear. I thought something was missing because
the French team is not mentioned is the "translatation details" on LP,
for example
https://translations.launchpad.net/openerp-web/trunk/+pots/web/fr/+details
Anyway, I'm puzzled by members of the Core Team making translations and
reviewing them themselves. Does the core team have implicit reviewer
rights on the translations?
If such is the case, would you please invite them to make translations
as "suggestions" and let the translation team review them? They can use
the "translator mode" for that on LP.
Of course it's only an humble suggestion, no offense intended: the
review process proved very efficient in v6.0 in terms is consistency,
typo detection and correct wording.
Translations from the Core Team remain most valuable.
Yours,
Lionel Sausin.
