Yes, you are absolutely right. we should Improved this view as Project
and Task. and It's very useful functionality for long term project.
That's why  I am confirm this Issue with low Importance.

  [Trunk/7.0] Cannot follow-up Phases

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  In OpenERP 7.0.

  1) Install the module project_long_term.
  2) Go to "Project / Project / Projects", create one and there is the possibility to follow this project.
  3) Go to "Project / Project / Tasks", create one and there is the possibility to follow this task.
  4) Go to "Project / Project / Phases", create one and you cannot follow a Project Phase. This is inconsistent with the behaviour of the related objects (Project and Task).

  This can be solve by incorporating the same follow-up mechanism of
  Project in Project Phases
