Hello Leigh,

Yes, its really problematic, Once you validated inventory it will create
the stock accounting entry  and when you cancel the inventory It will
not creates the reverse entry.  After the cancel If you again validate
the inventory then it will again creates the entry .

Bug description:

  Do a physical inventory.  Make sure your product is set to Inventory Valuation = Real Time
  Note the GL entries created.

  Now cancel the physical inventory.  The goods are returned in
  inventory but the GL entries are NOT reversed.

  ** this a critical bug  because it destroys the integrity of the GL
