I've worked very hard to create some .DEB installers for OpenShot, and I'm
getting really close to being done.  I've made many changes, in preparation
for the installers.  Tonight, I have successfully installed OpenShot on
Ubuntu 8.04, 8.10, and 9.04 (all 64 bit) with the DEB files.  Tomorrow I'm
going to test the .DEBs on some 32 bit versions of Ubuntu.  I still have a
few loose ends... which I need to tie into the "postinst" script process.  I
didn't quite finish everything tonight, so you will have to wait until
tomorrow before I can complete the .DEB files... and then we can test them
on a wider set of computers.

By the way, I've commited a new build wizard to LaunchPad (bzr).  It's not
on the download site yet, but it's dramatically different, and should run
faster, work better on Ubuntu 8.04, and it creates .DEB files for each
dependency, and thus can be un-installed by Synaptic.  It's a far superior
build wizard.  However, I'm not quite ready to put this version on the
download site yet...  Still needs to more testing (especially on 32 bit).
