Helen, I've run the newest version of OpenShot on all 3 versions of Ubuntu,
and I can't re-create the hanging you are experiencing. I would be sure you
have the latest code, and not just some of the latest code. If you are
using bzr pull (it might ignore some files that have been modified by you).
Just a thought. Also, I've fixed the Export bug (where the export continues
after you close the window). And I've tied the File/Quit menu into the
"Save Dialog" process.
After I committed Andy's patch (fixing the folder deletion bug), I went
ahead and fixed the "Thumbnail-View" bugs. The bug that prevented returning
to the "Details" view, and the preview, remove file, and file properties
menu items broke on the thumbnail view. Those are all fixed now as well.
The drag & drop timeilne bug I fixed was reported by at least 1 person (I
need to go update some of these tickets). It was where OpenShot just
randomly stops letting you drop a cilp or transition on the timeline. The
only work-around was to save your project, close the program, and open it
again. That is fixed.
Thanks,
-Jonathan
