This really sounds like a bug we just fixed.  I wonder if something is
cached.  You might search for the following 3 files and delete them.  The
PPA will add these files back, so don't worry.

mlt.py
_mlt.so
mlt_wrap.o

Then try and re-install from the PPA.  Hope this works.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
Using todays OpenShot 0.9.42, I cannot render a video - openshot crashes after I ask it to.

There's nothing interesting in the terminal as it just says segmentation fault. This problem was present before todays update too.
