Re: PPA Packaging Question
Good luck Jonathan !
Perhaps i have found accidently a solution. I have found a ppa very
interresting for us which provides us the possibility to have some goods
versions (and working) for severals softwares (ffmpeg x264 ) I have found it
here <http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2888839> about this
sofware Imagination <http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/imagination> . ok it's in
french (sorry) but it's perhaps a solution to explore. It's a good version
of ffmpeg (working well not constrained) but (always a but) this ppa is
incopatible with this <http://ppa.launchpad.net/c-korn/vlc/ubuntu> . In the
doc of imagination you can see at the end a little word about Openshot (and
it's not me but yannubuntu). This is the little history.
If the new ppa of offer the last version with this version of ffmpeg and
x264 it missed us only the last version of mlt (perhaps the ppa of
.......kdenlive. BUT it 's a tempory solution.(i'm thinking) We can explore
another solutions. it was my daily thought.
Cheers
Olivier
