$ sudo apt-get install melt
$ melt /usr/share/example-content/*.jpg
It should open up a new window, and show an image. I have attached the
strange output I'm getting in 32 bit Ubuntu 9.10. I've tried this on a few
different computers, and I get similar results on each one. It squishes the
image into the top of the window, and fills in the rest with some colors.
Sometimes I get a solid green color, instead of the pink and green.
I have already reported this to the MLT team, and they are looking at it.
But I just wanted to confirm this with a few other people. I guess it's
possible that it's somehow related to my video card, or drivers.
Thanks in advance!
