Public bug reported:

Installing OpenShot on Karmic from the PPA causes libavcodec52 to be
removed (required to play back Xvid in Totem) and replaces it with
libavcodec-extra-52.

This means I have to remove OpenShot if I want to watch an Xvid media
file. It would be great if they could exist side by side, or if
libavcodec-extra-52 allowed Xvid to be played in Totem.
