[Bug 503209] Re: PAL DV doesn't play

 

Are you able to play the files using ffplay (the ffmpeg player) and melt
(the MLT command line player)? In the terminal type:

ffplay myfile.avi
melt myfile.avi

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New

Bug description:
Trying to import PAL DV file. When I press play, there is a momentary blue flash in the video display area, then black. The time display in the lower left reads 00:00:00.199 for 1 second, then  00:00:00.200 for one second, then repeats both 4 times (5 times total, over 10 seconds). timer stops at  00:00:00.200

No error messages on command line.

Installed from PPA. Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic, 32bit on via savage km400 chipset.
