Hmmm.  Does the timeline stop at 10 minutes?  Or does it draw the entire
length of your project?  Also, can you attach the following file after you
reproduce this in OpenShot: ~/.openshot/sequence.mlt.  Be sure to click
"Play" first, which should create that file.

Instalation Method PPA
Version of OpenShot 1.0.0

When i create new project with options DV PAL WideScreen, the WideScreen of the project is implemented only for 10 minutes. Then the screenratio will switch to normal DV PAL.
