[Bug 476760] Re: The program 'openshot' received an X Window System error
Same problem on UBUNTU LUCID 4.10 Open shot 1.1.3
The program 'openshot' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 26 error_code 2 request_code 133 minor_code 19)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Erreur de segmentation
I can restart the project but when i play it, they crash again. I must
restart the computer.

Bug description:
I installed 0.9.43(through PPA) some time ago on a freshly installed Ubuntu 9.10 Beta.
It crashed immediatly with the X Window System error.
I today upgraded to 0.9.52 experimental through PPA.
Encounterd the missing /usr/lib/libmlt++.so.2 bug as descibed by Pablo.
Finally started openshot, but with the same crash.
I deconfigured compiz and configured metacity.
Started openshot again but it crash again :-(
See console output below:
Added /usr/share/openshot to system path
