Hi Cenwen,

Thanks so much for your reply.  I'm a little confused though.  I do have all
the dependencies and Openshot will play my project most of the time with no
or little problem.  Sometimes though it crashes completely.  Are you saying
that converting my files to the mp4 format will make the program work better
and solve my problem?  Currently the files are .dv files that I grabbed
using Kino.

The program crashes randomly during playback of a project.  After reopening the project playback causes immediate crashes until ubuntu is restarted.  Memory issue?
