I just installed Karmic 9.10 and downloaded Openshot 1.1.3 from Synaptic
through ppa.

Upon opening one of my projects from Jaunty 9.04, I noticed that there
were garbage on some of the clips displayed in the preview, particularly
the ones with effects applied.

I verify it was not a problem with the project, I created a new project
and added a single clip. I rendered it once with effects + layout and
once again without effects or layout.

The one with White Balance and Brightness + Layout (110x110-10-5,
120x120-10-5) applied produces horizontal chromatic stripes while the
one without effects does not. Both were rendered videos from originally
an mp4 and rendered to an mp4 of the same bitrate and specifications.
Effects without layout changed does not produce garbage.

I tried this on mp4 and mov source clips, same problem with each.
