[Bug 562082] Re: Import files of 130 images or more hang program execution

Correctly, I tried out with version 1.1.3, on kubuntu 10.04, and the issue seems to have been corrected.
I'm using MLT 0.5.4

Curiously, I tried some time ago the same version of openshot (1.1.3), but with kubuntu Karmic (9.10), and 1.1.2 with Ubuntu 9.04, and it failed to import more than 130 images. This might mean that the bug is from the K/Ubuntu guys?

That time, I made sure I wait enough time for the importing process to finish. It was not a matter of time delay. It never came back from the black out. It just hang.
However, I don't remember about the cpu usage. Neither about the MLT version.

Bug description:
When trying to import 130 or more images, the "Import File" dialog hangs, and the program stops working.
I tried with version 1.1.2 on Ubuntu 9.10 and version 1.1.3 on Kubuntu 9.10 with 10.04 betas.
I don't think it is an issue of image size, since I tried with small and big images: 36 MB or 450 MB sum. I all cases, importing a hundred images worked, but importing 130 fails.

Doing an extended test with a set of 36 Mb images sum, importing 126, 127, 128 or 129 images worked. But importing 130 or more fails.

This might be related to bug #420369 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/420369).
