[Bug 605553] [NEW] Openshot renders some titles incorrectly

Public bug reported:

Folks, I have a weird problem that I cannot characterize or
deterministically duplicate. Every once in a while, in OpenShot (ver
1.1.3 on Ubuntu 9.10), I see something like the screen shot attached.
See where the cursor line is? Just to the left the title which actually
says "The End". The title is labeled "f12111111". However, look at the
preview window. Even though the cursor is no on the title, it is being
rendered. This behavior is not just for the preview window. It even
happens when I render and export the complete video. Track 4 is just an
audio track. No video. I've even tried turning its video display button
off, but to no avail.

It sometimes happens with particular video snippets as well.

I cannot find any correlation between the behavior and the particular
text, the title type, video type, or any other obvious issue. This
particular 2.5 minute video has multiple titles, but it only happens
with this one title.

Any pointers will be much appreciated. I will also file a bug report
just in case no one else has reported this.
