Message #04226
[Bug 626008] [NEW] Export movie for YouTubeHD uses wrong audio codec (mp3 vs aac)
Public bug reported:
Using OpenShot 1.1.3 on Ubuntu Lucid.
When I export a movie for YouTubeHD, the following codecs are selected:
1. video: libx264
2. audio: mp3
the format is mp4.
The resulting movie is recognized as corrupted (and therefore it doesn't
play) on Quicktime and on other players, including YouTube.
I found that changing the audio codec to aac fixes the problem.
Is there any reason mp3 is chosen instead of aac? Otherwise I believe
the latter should be the default option.
** Affects: openshot
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
