[Bug 663531] Re: I can't move the clip on the track
Hi everyone! I have been researching this issue tonight, and have a few
questions / comments. First, the pygoocanvas project is still active,
as seen by activity on their mailing list:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/goocanvas-list/. Second, I have a
completely updated Ubuntu 10.10 VirtualBox image and OpenShot works
great. I am unable to reproduce the issue. Also, someone mentioned
above that the project works file in the beginning, but then breaks
after a bit of use.
So, here is my prediction. I think some other bug is at work here, and
not a compatibility issue with cairo and pygoocanvas.
To fix this kind of bug, I have to find a way to reproduce it.
Thousands of people have installed and use OpenShot on Ubuntu 10.10, and
only a handful of people have subscribed to this bug report. So, I
absolutely believe there is some issue, I just don't think it's very
widespread. Perhaps it's related to a GTK theme, a dock, or some other
program that is capturing the cursor, etc...
Hopefully someone will find a way to reproduce this, and update this ticket. =) Thanks!
