[Bug 543960] Re: Transitions are very difficult to put in place

Transitions now snap on both the A and B tracks, which clip edge is
closest, and also based on which direction the transitions is being
dragged. Also, the direction of the transition now automatically
adjusts (if Snap mode is enabled), based on which overlapping clip (A or
B) is first.

And... the new "Add to Timeline" feature in 1.3.0 will automatically
arrange, shuffle, add random transitions, add clips to both A and B
tracks, or add Fade options for as many files you have selected. This
effectively is now the best way to do slide shows, or quickly throw down
dozens and dozens of clips at one time.

Transitions are very difficult to put in place

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openshot

When inserting a transition, two unintuitive things happen:

1. The transition always defaults to the "up" direction, even when it's being placed over a transition that goes down a track.

2. The transition doesn't snap to anything, and defaults to the same length no matter what.

I'd like to see transitions "know" when they've been placed across overlapped clips, orient themselves in the right direction, and snap to the edges of the overlapping clips so no adjustment is needed. This would make editing so much more fluid and intuitive!
