[Bug 744114] [NEW] Crash when transcoding AVCHD when timeline is not scrolled to the end
Public bug reported:
I film rugby matches on a Canon Legria HF R16 camera. To save editing
time I do a lot of stop start filming which means after a match there is
easily 80 or 90 clips of film that I batch import into OpenShot.
Because my computer is not strong enough to edit HD video I batch add
the clips to the timeline and start transcoding directly. If I don't
first scroll all the way to the end of the timeline at least once before
starting the transcode the OpenShot will crash at some stage during the
transcode.
I am not sure when exactly this happens as I normally start the
transcode at night and go to bed as it takes a few hours. last night the
crash happened when the final file was around 340MB. the file was not
playable.
OS: Linux Mint 9
Installation method PPA
Version: 1.3
** Affects: openshot
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
