so i've subscribed to some blueprints, but can't actually do any
implementation without ability to install modules on the beta site (or
have them installed) and configure them with admin rights.
i can make do without install rights provided i can talk to someone
who will install them. i'd like to start with the various kinds of
user registration (sign-up and volunteer). i can spec out a solution
without having any rights - should i proceed this way?
fyi it would be easy for me to move the forum and wiki into the drupal
beta site, which i think would be a good step assuming we're sticking
with the drupal platform (and i think we should).

Great question. The wiki is a bit more static, so if what you want
is to GET info, I would look there first. Check out
http://wiki.theosdf.org/index.php?title=Drupal_Configuration. Note
that not everything there is necessarily enabled right now. The
forum isn't really being used by anyone at the moment, but I would
love for that to change.
To really answer your question, I would suggest going to lauchpad.
Look through the blueprints
(https://blueprints.launchpad.net/osdf) and see if there's an
appropriate one for what you want to work on. If not feel free to
make a new one. If you have an questions about launchpad let me know.

hey toast,
yes, i'd like to get admin access to the drupal beta and show off
some possible features we could put together. about a year ago i
was prototyping a similar democracy-oriented app in drupal that
never got off the ground, so i have some good ideas ready to test
out.
is there a central place where discussions on features /
objectives take place? i've seen these kind of scattered about
on the launchpad site, the wiki, and the forums. i'd like to
jump in on this conversation if you could point me in the right
direction :)

Kage,
Any more immediate solution like this one is one that would
need to be implemented in Wordpress. However, if you would
like to have admin-type access to the Drupal installation get
with me. The current focus with Drupal is 2-fold: configure
the theme (which is pending a proper draft from our designer)
and configure CiviCRM. Any suggestions/additions/improvements
to the setup are welcome as well.
Joshua,
I have created the form and made you the owner. You can see
the Wordpress draft at
http://theosdf.org/?page_id=133&preview=true
<http://theosdf.org/?page_id=133&preview=true> (you must be
logged in). Let me know if you need help with anything like
adding it to a menu, etc.

Name (of owner)

Business Address
Business Phone number (for verification)

Can we use your business name in OSDF publications in the

I'd be happy to build a mock up if this is something we
can up and
running in the next 5 days or so.
Any takers?
