I was wondering if this was the right place to discuss a bug report as I also
see a "grayed out but not invisible" link space with an alt text when an option
is not available.

Possible solution (which might have a field of it's own somewhere but I'm new
at this) is to find the color that the bug reporter can see ($disp_detail in
debug mode) and use it for the gray that is obviously too light for the
inactive link spaces.  Then a shade or 2 darker for the $disp_detail area.  In
other words, up them just enough to become visible in that particular browser
yet still retain the "this is grayed out" aspect in all other browsers.

Now I see if I get double emails when I leave the box for add me to cc checked
;)
