If any one interested. I tried the voria repositories in Ubuntu 10.10
(VirtualBox) and they are not correcting the brightness issue in the X360.
Actually, the keybindings for brightness do not work at all, and the panel
brightness control appears with the crossed red circle on it to no avail.

Personally, I am keeping the 10.04 with the i915.modeset=0 and xrandr
tricks. It is a LTS release after all...


Which distros are you, people, working with?
