Re: Horizon cannot connect to Elastic Hadoop

No issues from me. I'm holding off wrt Horizon.

Eoghan reports success after aligning the port numbers.

Hi Matt,

could you, please, share your Savanna-specific endpoints from keystone?

p.s. I think that setting port to 9000 could help you (-p flag).

I have setup the Savanna Horizon using the docs at

try to connect from Horizon I get this connection error. Does anyone
have any idea what I could be missing? I have the Savanna API running
on the same host with grizzly stable code and have created the savann
service and endpoint in keystone.

HTTPConnectionPool(host='', port=9000): Max retries exceeded with url: /v0.2/d57943a12a674ac5beea3b0b5d64fe7e/clusters (Caused by <class 'socket.error'>: [Errno 111] Connection refused)

I was about to go down this path too, but decided to postpone because a dashboard plugin is under development for 0.2, which is supposed to be a better architecture than the current mirantis openstack-horizon.git.

That said, port=9000 is suspicious. Does it work if you change it to the port savanna-api is listening on?
