I got your test stuff and description:

I finally tested on my Win7-32 (Sikuli X-1.0rc3(r930), Java 6 build 31) with the same directory structure as you used.
I had no problems. It worked fine.

So something must be odd with your system environment / setup --- but I
have no idea what this could be.
