Still supposing, that you are talking about Sikuli scripts, that are
written using Python language (level 2.5) and processed by the Jython
interpreter (a Java based Python implementation).

The relevant documentation about Python basics in Jython can be found here:

where you find informations about threading and subprocessing  in
chapters 16 and 17
