[Bug 1285282] [NEW] type function broken on Linux
Public bug reported:
-Ubuntu 13.10 (32bit)
-java version "1.7.0_51"
-Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
-Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
-Sikuli IDE 1.0.1 (installed via sikuli-setup.jar, option 1)
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Open Sikuli IDE
2.) Write a new script like:
click($some_input_field_eg_search_field_in_browser)
type("a")
3.) Save the script
4.) Run the script
Result: The input field receives "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and so on, until interrupted.
Expected Result: The input field receives "a"
