The suggested values are: 5 if you are on battery and 6 to disable any
power saving (AC). The use also 'iwconfig wlan0 power on' and 'iwconfig

Now it is more clear why you don't just use laptop-mode-tools.

The scripts are in /usr/share/laptop-mode-tools/modules/ and the
configuration files are in /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/.
