Re: Compiz stopped working on either Intel or Nvidia... ALSO, PERHAPS ABILITY TO HOT SWITCH!
Okay, I hae figured it out, at least partially...
Something about the Nvidia driver causes me to lose compiz and backlight
controls, even when I'm in Stamina Mode.
Leaving ALL settings the same, all switch scripts, etc...by simply
uninstalling the Nvidia 180 driver, and leaving my machine in stamina, all
returned to normal...
I will now try to reinstall Nvidia, and blacklist in the
/etc/modprobe.d/sony.conf file...
If anyone else knows how to help me fix this, it's greatly appreciated.
This is my production machine, and I knew I should have not tried this till
the weekend :(
Thanks,
Anthony
