I have some news about the usage of the internal microphone on the last
kernels.

I've found the commit that break our cards in recent alsa-drivers (for
example in kernel 2.6.30). With a dirty patch I'm able to use the
internal microphone on 2.6.30 but I hope in a good patch by the authors.
