It just says that your CPU supports VT, but not if it's activated.

KVM even works without VT, but of course only in QEMU mode.
Easiest way to check working VT, is starting Virtualbox. An icon indicates if
VT is active or not.
On my Z21 the EFI hack was necessary to use VT!
