I agree!

A wiki is ultimately where I would like to get this info too.  The main
issue (I believe) is that we're all on different distros.  So, although I
use Ubuntu, and will eventually document my journey on getting everything
going on my Vaio, it would hardly benefit as many as a non distro specific
wiki or wikipedia document would, with more general directions than for one
specific distro.

I would go as far to say that if we had enough of a cult-like following, we
could even go more to a full member site type layout.  IBM Thinkpads often
get that type of attention from Linux users.

The issues I think we'd find would be the following:
1)  We'd have to keep that information fresh.  Good adminstration skills
necessary.
2)  Let's setup a poll somehow and see who's on what distro before building
out a wiki or site layout.

If you have a good idea of where to host, or you will be making one for your
distro, please let us know!  At the very least we'd link back to it.
