Hello,

thanks to your link for the sony-laptop np4 module I could finally compile
the module for the kernel 2.6.31:

GREAT, but unfortunately the make test has failed:

linux-nas5:/usr/src/sony-laptop-zseries-0.9np4 # make
test

rmmod
sony-laptop

ERROR: Module sony_laptop does not exist in
/proc/modules

make: *** [test] Error 1

and the insmod also:

linux-nas5:/usr/src/sony-laptop-zseries-0.9np4 # insmod
sony-laptop.ko

insmod: error inserting 'sony-laptop.ko': -1 Invalid module format

could you help me to figure out what's wrong?
