I haven't noticed a difference - but the drivers did install okay...

On ubuntu; sudo...
apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Sony VPCZ11X9E/B
nvidia GT 330M
