Re: Pointers to how to continue getting Intel 1600x900 work.

 

	Actually, one thing - with grub2 the display doesn't work at all - I have 
heard that using grub1 or lilo it could be made to work, so it may be that for 
my purposes this patch is a bit of a red herring. ( I wanted grub2 support 
because I wanted to dual boot windows and keep using RAID0. ) The other 
question I guess is if it works on Arrandale chips using the Ironlake graphics 
core.

	It sort of points to something not being initialised properly by the 
driver. Grub2 obviously changes something that the driver assumes has not been 
changed, though to be honest I haven't had a chance to try other boot loaders 
on my machine because I've got too much stuff on there to have to keep re-
installing :(
