Well, I've tried to keep adding to the bug report at:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29141
with various things that I've tried, though I've tried so many things
that I've lost track a bit, and that bug report is already too confusing and
messy :(.
The chip documentation is at:
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/documentation.html
and there is a useful "intel_reg_dumper" command ( which I can't remember
where it came from, but should be easy enough to find. )
Having said that, I've just seen Xavier's comment that Zhao Yakui's patch
works for the 1600x900 panel, so when I get a chance I'll have a look at that
one again ( maybe today ) and see if I can see what it is that causes that
panel to work with that patch.
Adam.
