Message #01550
possible problem with sony-laptop-zseries-0.9np7
Dear Mr. Preining,
I am using a Sony Vaio VPCZ12 and uname -a:
Linux seven 2.6.35.4-nogo-pixel #6 SMP PREEMPT Thu Sep 16 23:14:20 EDT
2010 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU M 620 @ 2.67GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Why don't I get an acpid event for Fn+F5 (event:0x10), but only for
Fn+F6 (event:0x11)?
(and what is "event: 0x3b" - a generic button release event?)
Why do I get "button/fnf6" and others seem to get "sony/hotkey"?

Do I (maybe) need the "CONFIG_SONYPI" within my kernel? because it says:
Depends on !64BIT and I have a 64bit kernel.
Here is the dmesg output of modprobe sony_laptop debug=1:
