Re: Gobi Modem not working under Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid on Vaio Z41
That problem is a regression starting with newer Linux kernels. See
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15134
The current solution is to patch the gobi_loader source with the
referenced patch (https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/73878/) and
compile gobi_loader yourself. That works for me (VGN-Z31WN).
