Gobi Modem not working under Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid on Vaio Z41

 

Hi Mike,

thanks for the fast reply. But I have to ask again.

I already tried to apply those patches from
www.codon.org.uk/~mjg59/gobi_loader/ without success.
Some hunks had beed rejected and I don't want to do that by hand -- No
time, no plan.

The linux-backports-modules-2.6.32 you mentioned what exactly is that?
Patched modules?
How to install? Just apt-get and done or are any tweaks needed?
