The networksettings you can find in NetworkManager. I'm guessing it has a
profile now, you could delete it and make a new one.
Iptables is a commandline program yes. Of you don't know it. It is unlikely
you have wrong rules defined for it, so you can skip it if you like. For
iptables usage you will have to read the manual or a tutorial.
