This is not the janitor script that crashes, this is a message from
dkms.
Solve that first.

Where did you get those kernels? I use Ubuntu 10.10 and its actual
kernel is 2.6.35-27-generic. When you build your own kernel or if you
use a kernel from an other release than you may become trouble with dkms
like this but you can read the make log yourself and it will be not that
difficult to solve that ;-)
