Re: oneiric already worth trying?

Hi,

I have a (beautiful) Z21C5E with I7-2620m and SSD.
Install Oneiri 64bit is recent (3.0.0-12 kernel and Gnome 3.2.0) but I still
have some graphic problems rather troublesome (which means that the rest works
fine and so fast ;).

I have added in grub nomodset to avoid the black screen at install and
start-up, using a screensaver (xscreensaver), standby and hibernation always
end up in black screen (wild reboot required).
The 3d effects are not supported even though the command glxinfo | grep "direct
rendering" said yes.
I see on http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ recent graphic packages but I'm not
sure what to do whith them.

So, I would say that if your machine is stable, be a little patient.

Nico
