This is a feature on the Vaio Z13 as well. Audio card is a Realtek 
ALC889. In Windows you can enable noise cancelling in the control 
software, but I don't know what this does; enable hardware noise 
cancelling or start software that drives this behaviour?

I would love this feature to be available in Linux :-) Who knows how to 
find out how this works?
