Hi Craig,

Vaio Z1 series (Z11, Z12, Z13), right?

I never reinstalled 11.10, but upgraded from fresh 11.04 installation 
(11.10 wasn't released yet).

After installation of 11.04, I also installed 0.9np8 (newer than pre3 
perhaps?) using DKMS.

I have never experienced your problem, though.

I use a hacked bios set to Static switching and I always set it to 
Stamina. My system only sees the Intel graphics card.

Do you run the kernel with any non default boot parameters?

What happens if you run the module after booting?
