Attached with this email are all the scripts that you will need despite the
website being down. Before you run the janitor script make a directory
/usr/share/sony-laptop and place both the switch-x-to and
acpi_create_nv_event scripts in there. Then put the janitor script in
/usr/share/local/bin and run it. Also set these scripts as executable
before you run the vaio script. If you want to use the newest nvidia
driver, the FTP method the script uses doesnt work sometimes. I get around
that by installing the swat-x-updates PPA. So when I choose distribution
drivers in the script it gives me the newest drivers and xorg versions etc.
Its working fine with ubuntu 10.04 on my sony VGN-Z620N. Hope this helps.
