Re: Ubuntu 12.04 on Sony VPCZ1 - LiveCD works great, Drops to Busybox after install

To clarify, I was simply booting with initrd.img-3.0.0-12-generic, but
kernel is Ubuntu 12.04 kernel: vmlinuz-3.2.0-18-generic .

Also, Wouter:

"When I choose kernel 3.2 in grub I'm dropped in Busybox shell. If I
enter 'dmraid -ay' and 'exit', then normal boot procedure continues."

This works perfectly for me as well! Thank You!

Now to get your fix into the initrd.img-3.2.0-18-generic. I wonder whether
it's a timing issue, or if the command is just not being run...

So the only problem I have now is that sound is only working through the
headphones (and not the notebook speakers). This is ok though.

Thanks for your help!
